Cross-Post: Men's Shirts Into Nursing Tops

Originally posted on A Sartorial Statement : Upon my return from the hospital after giving birth to my daughter, I realized that I have very few clothing options now that I am nursing.  I do own several button-down shirts, but they are all from before I was pregnant - some are from high school! - and no longer fit me.  Even though I've lost most of the pregnancy weight and my waist and hips are pretty much back to my "normal" measurements, my bust has increased by a good four inches!  And I imagine that as long as I'm breast-feeding, it'll stay there.  In sewing terms, I've gone from a size 12 to a size 16 in the bust, which is slightly infuriating because most of my clothing patterns are in the 8-14 size ranges.  *sigh* Of course, my inner pre-teen is thrilled by this development, as I was used to being a size smaller in the bust than I was in the waist and hips.  However, as someone who likes to make her own clothes, such a fundamental change is a huge a
